About Us

My name is Calvin Sheriff. I was raised in Louisville KY and moved to south Florida in 1986. I did odd jobs for a while until settling in the handyman-maintenance field. I worked for several contractors and learned a wide range of new skills. I have always been detail-oriented and take pride in completing a job to the best of my ability.

For about 10 years I was doing some work for our Church parishioners and priest's homes in Lake Worth, Florida and helping in the food pantry. In 2003 I was hired by the state of Florida, Port of Palm Beach. I built a portable stage the Port could use for special occasions including speeches by Congressman Tim Mahoney, Governor Charles Christ and the then Senator Barrack Obama.

I also designed and built hurricane protection for the mobile telescopic passenger loading bridge for the cruise ships. I Installed a backup generator for the maintenance department, and as a part of a voluntary program for them I designed and built a float for the yearly celebration of the Martin Luther King parade.

I left the Port last year to move to South Carolina so my wife and I could be closer to her family.

My ultimate goal is to make this company successful in hopes to start a not -for-profit, no-kill animal shelter that could in turn help disabled children through animal therapy and help offer free services for low income families with the cost of shots, spay and neutering for pets.

Finally, a plug for my wonderful wife: Mary Rose's Sheriff Services, her Quickbooks bookkeeping services company.
